Infant Room

The infants schedule is flexible as the teachers try to individualize their care. A schedule sheet is located in their folder to convey feeding, sleeping or important information that will help the teachers make your child’s day great. Daily routine includes art, snack time, circle, and lots of playtime inside and out as well as walks in the stroller. Sensory and gross motor activities are provided throughout the day.

Self help and cooperation skills are reinforced throughout the day. The children learn through play in block, dramatic play, manipulatives, and library centers. Creativity abounds in the art center. Letters, numbers, shapes and color are reinforced daily during circle time. We use the Fundanoodle curriculum, Weekly Readers, and introduce the children to the Learning without Tears curriculum to prepare them for our four-year-old class.
